When the Pilgrims came to America, they saw the Indians growing corn (maize), squash, and beans in the same mound. The Pilgrims told them this wasn’t the way to grow crops. But the Pilgrims way of growing proved to be unsucessful, and the crops failed. The Indians took pity on the Pilgrims and brought them corn, squash, and beans. And saved them from death. The Pilgrims re-payed them by stealing the land and murdering them.
